How to get text from a scanned document (OCR)

On a scan or photo you cannot copy text. The page is a picture, not text.

OCR reads the letters in the picture and turns them into text. The Nibras Code OCR tool does this in your browser, on your phone or computer. The file does not go to a server.

It reads Azerbaijani, English, Russian, Turkish and Arabic.

  • Open nibrascode.com/en/pdf/pdf-ocr.
  • Choose a scanned PDF or a picture.
  • Wait for recognition. The first time, language files load.
  • Copy the text or download it as TXT/DOCX.

The tool shows a confidence percent. If it is low, check letters such as «ə», «ı» and «ğ».
