Nibras Code
Programming
First read the face of a page with HTML and CSS.
Then write a short program in Python.
So a language, a command, and a tool do not get mixed, each card below says what it is.
When you get stuck, ask Nibras AI.
Where to start
- 1HTML/CSSThe face of a page starts here. HTML writes the structure. CSS says the color and the place. Read this before a programming language.
- 2PythonStart here as a first language. print shows text. A condition and a loop run a short program. The lesson chapters are in their own list.
- 3Nibras AIAsk here when one line in a lesson gets stuck. AI does not replace the language. Read the page first, then ask about the line you did not understand.
Lessons
The structure of a page, a heading, a paragraph, a list, an image, and a form.
A tag is the name of a place, not the text.
Color, the box, space, and hover.
CSS does not say what the page is.
It says how it looks.
The first line, a condition, a loop, and a button.
JavaScript changes the page.
It does not take HTML's place.
Lesson chapters from scratch: the first step, a condition, a function, a list, and an error.
Each chapter says one job on its own.
Read from a table, sort, and count.
SQL is not a programming language in the same sense.
It writes a question to the data.

- Which language?
- PythonWhat the Python programming language is used for, and why people choose it.
- JavaScriptWhat JavaScript is for, in the browser and beyond the page.
- JavaWhat Java is, and where it sits in Android apps and other software.
- C#Where the C# language is used and what defines it.
- TypeScriptWhat TypeScript adds, and how it differs from JavaScript.
- HTML/CSSHTML and CSS: the structure of a page and how it looks.
- Build an APKWhat an APK is, how it is built, which folders you need, and how a ready zip goes to Code Studio.
- SQLSQL is the language used to query and work with data.
- GoGo is a compiled language from Google with a small syntax. It is used for servers, command-line tools, and cloud software.
- PHPPHP is a web language that runs on the server. It builds HTML before the page is sent.
- KotlinKotlin is a language that runs on the JVM. It is an official language for Android and can sit in the same project as Java code.
- C++C++ is a systems language for speed and control. It is used in games, browser engines, and device software.
- RustRust is a systems language that catches memory mistakes in the compiler. It is chosen when you want speed without managing memory by hand as in C++.
- UbuntuUbuntu is a Debian-based Linux distribution. It is used on a desktop and on a server to install and run software.
- Java 17Java 17 is a long-term support release of the language. It is not the newest Java, but servers and tools still use it widely.
- Node.jsNode.js is a runtime that runs JavaScript outside the browser, on a server and in a tool. It is not a separate programming language by itself.
- Android SDKThe Android SDK is the set of tools and libraries used to build a phone app. It is not an app by itself, and it is not a programming language.
- GradleGradle is the tool that builds a Java, Kotlin, and Android project. It downloads a dependency, runs a task, and prepares the package.
- CapacitorCapacitor puts a web app into an iOS and Android shell. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript stay.
- DockerDocker runs a program in a container. An image is the ready template.
- NginxNginx is a web server and a reverse proxy. It serves a static file itself and forwards a request to a dynamic app.
- SSL / HTTPSHTTPS is HTTP in encrypted form. Today TLS does the encryption.
- FirewallA firewall is a filter that allows or blocks network traffic by a rule. On Ubuntu it is often managed with ufw.
- GitGit is a tool that keeps the history of a project. It is not a programming language.
- BashBash is the program where you type commands. It is what usually runs in the Ubuntu terminal.
- JSONJSON is a rule for writing data as text. It is not a programming language.
- ReactReact is a JavaScript library that splits an interface into parts. It is not a language.
- CC is a programming language that sits close to the computer. It was written in 1972.
- MySQLMySQL is a server that keeps data in tables. SQL is not this name.
- HTTPHTTP is the rule by which a browser talks to a server. It is not a language.
- LinuxLinux is the kernel of a computer. It is not a programming language.
- SSHSSH is the rule for an encrypted login to a remote computer. The command runs there, and the text is not read on the path.
- DNSDNS is the rule that turns a name into a number. The browser writes nibrascode.com, and DNS finds its address.
- npmnpm is the tool that downloads and installs a JavaScript package. It is not a language.
- RedisRedis is a server that keeps a key and a value in memory. It is not a table database.
- croncron is the tool that starts a command when its time comes. It is not a language.
- pippip is the tool that downloads a Python package. Python runs the program, and pip brings the library.
- SQLiteSQLite keeps data in one file. It is not Python, and it is not Node.js.
- curlcurl is a command that sends a request to an address. It is not a browser.
- ComposerComposer is the tool that downloads a PHP package. It is not PHP itself.
- CargoCargo is the tool that brings a Rust package and builds the program. It is not the Rust language itself.
- MakeMake is the tool that starts only the command that is needed when a file changes. It is not a language.
- MavenMaven is the tool that builds a Java project and brings its library. It is not Java itself.
- YAMLYAML is a format that writes a setting with lines and spaces. It is not a programming language.
- systemdsystemd is the tool that starts and stops a service on Linux. It is not the kernel.
- PostgreSQLPostgreSQL is a server that keeps data in tables. It is not one file.
- MarkdownMarkdown is a way to write text with simple marks. It is not a programming language.
- rsyncrsync is a command that copies a file from one place to another. It tries not to send again what is already the same.
- Git and GitHubGit is the program that keeps old steps of a file on your computer. GitHub is the site where those steps can sit.
- APIAn API is a door one program opens for another program. A person presses a button.
- LocalhostLocalhost is your own computer. The site opens there, but a person on the internet does not see it.
- FrameworkA framework is a ready structure. You write your own work inside it.
- TerminalA terminal is the window where you type a command. Instead of a button you type a word and press Enter.
- DeployDeploy is putting a finished page from your computer onto the machine people open. Checking on localhost is not deploy.

- Install Python · 3.14On Windows, install Python 3.14 today. After setup, check it with python --version.
- Install Java · 25On Windows, install Java 25 LTS today. The free build is the Eclipse Temurin JDK.
- Install C# · .NET 10For C# on Windows, install the .NET 10 SDK. The runtime is not enough.
- Install SQL · PostgreSQL 18The SQL language is not installed by itself. To run it on Windows, install PostgreSQL 18 today.

- Frontend and backendThe frontend is the face a person sees. The backend is the work that stays behind.
What is the difference
pip and npm
pip brings a package for Python. npm brings a package for Node.js. Both put ready code into a project, but they do not work in the same place.
Python is a language. A program is written with it. pip installs a ready library for that language. A library for numbers, an image, or a site can come that way.
Node.js is the place that runs JavaScript on a computer. npm brings a ready package into that place. pip does not belong in a Node project. npm does not belong in a Python project.
When Python is installed, pip often comes with it. When Node is installed, npm comes too. The tool is separate from the language: the language runs the code, the tool brings the package.
Composer and PHP
PHP is a language that runs on the server side of a site. Composer is not a language. It is the tool that brings a PHP library into a project.
PHP reads the code and runs it. Composer downloads the ready code you need and puts it in the project folder. PHP runs the button. Composer only brings the package.
PHP still runs without Composer. A small page may not need it. In a large project it is hard to collect every library by hand. Composer does that with one command.
In short: PHP is the language. Composer is the package tool for that language. npm is for Node, pip is for Python, and Composer is for PHP.
