How to remove a photo background

Need a clean background for an ID photo, profile picture or product shot? Removing the background takes a few steps.

The Nibras Erase tool removes the background on your device. The photo is not uploaded to the Nibras Code server. The first time, a model file may download to your device; after that it is quicker.

After removing it, you can add a color or blurred background, a shadow, or make a round profile picture. You can fix edges by hand with a brush.

• Open nibrascode.com/en/erase.
• Choose the photo.
• Pick the quality and remove the background.
• If edges have extra or missing bits, fix them with the brush.
• If needed, pick a new background color.
• Choose a format and download: PNG for a transparent background, JPG or WebP for a smaller file.

The result is cleaner when the person and the background have very different colors.
