Nibras PDF

Nibras PDF privacy policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026 · App version 1.0.5

1. Overview

Nibras PDF is a local-first mobile app for working with PDF documents and images. This policy explains what information the app uses, when information can leave your device, and how you control your choices. If language versions differ, the Azerbaijani version prevails.

2. Operator and contact

Nibras PDF and the processing described in this policy are operated by Nibras Code. For privacy and data deletion questions, contact nibrascode@gmail.com.

3. Your files

PDFs and images you select are processed on your device. Merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, signature, page tools, Writer, PDF to image/Word (DOCX), scanning and text recognition (OCR) do not send document content to Nibras PDF servers. OCR runs on the device using Google ML Kit (Latin script) and Tesseract (Arabic and Russian/Cyrillic).

4. Camera and images

The camera is used only while you scan a document. Access to images is used only to create a PDF or extract text from the images you select. You can change these permissions at any time in your device settings.

5. Account (optional)

Sign-in with Google is optional and handled by Clerk, which may process your email address, name and a unique Clerk user ID to run the account and app services. See clerk.com/privacy.

6. Deleting your account

You can delete your account in the app at any time: Settings › Account › “Delete account”. Your Clerk account is permanently deleted, you are signed out and account-related caches on the device are cleared. Server-side usage-limit records and campaign metadata linked to the account are kept for at most 90 days and then deleted.

Files and history on your device are not deleted automatically; you can clear them in Settings or by uninstalling the app. An active Google Play subscription is not cancelled automatically — cancel it in Google Play › Payments & subscriptions. If you cannot access the app, email nibrascode@gmail.com from your account email; requests are completed within 30 days.

7. Usage limits

Free use has daily limits: 10 document operations, 4 OCR and 5 scans. Guest counters are stored only on the device. For signed-in free users, the Clerk user ID, the UTC date and these counters may be stored on our server when it is reachable; no document content, images, PDFs or file names are stored. If the server cannot be reached, the app continues with the on-device limit.

If you join the optional Premium campaign, metadata such as the campaign tier and discount percentage may be linked to your Clerk user ID. Daily free-trial counters for Pro features (for example watermark or batch processing) are stored only on the device and are not sent to the server. Pro users have no free limits.

8. On-device history and settings

Recent files, Writer drafts, language and appearance, app settings, temporary files and local lock settings (PIN and biometric lock) are stored on your device. You can manage history, drafts and temporary files in Settings. On-device data stays until you delete it, the app clears it automatically, or you uninstall the app.

9. Google Drive

Google Drive is not active in version 1.0.5. It is shown as “Coming soon” in Settings and on the save screen. No PDF, image or text is sent to Google Drive in this version, and no Drive permission is requested. If the feature is added in a future update, connecting will be optional and only files you choose may be uploaded to your own Drive with Google’s drive.file permission.

10. Pro, purchases and subscriptions

Pro plans (monthly and yearly subscriptions) are sold through Google Play Billing and managed with RevenueCat. Your Clerk user ID is shared with RevenueCat to link Pro to your account. These services may process purchase details and product and subscription status to run their services. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play. Nibras PDF never sees or stores card details. The RevenueCat (revenuecat.com/privacy) and Google (policies.google.com/privacy) privacy policies apply separately.

11. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. When you use the share button, you choose the receiving app in your device’s share sheet, and the file is sent only as a result of your action. Nibras PDF does not control what that third party does next. The service providers above (Clerk, RevenueCat, Google Play) receive only the data they need to perform their functions.

12. Retention and security

Server-side usage-limit records and Premium campaign claim metadata are kept to provide daily limits and account features; they never include document content. These server records are kept for 90 days and then deleted. Network traffic uses encrypted HTTPS. On-device data is protected by the operating system’s security mechanisms, but no storage method is completely risk-free.

13. Children

The app is intended for users aged 13 and over and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

14. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the app’s features or data flows change. The last updated date is shown at the top of this page. For support, data deletion and privacy questions, contact nibrascode@gmail.com.
